Death dates
Family has 2 sons with note that each died. The death records are in tiny print. I might have found record for one but not the other and at best would only have year. Am I correct that as the deaths are noted in the house exam that they died during the years of that exam. So would it be ok to list deaths as between year of birth and 1781? House record is for 1764-1781. Boys born 1774 and 1777.
Thank you. Blessings on this Good Friday. Deniese

Yes, both Måns and Jonas died during that household record. If you can not find the exact death date, you can list the death as between year of birth and 1781.

Thank you Heidi. If I had bigger screen I might be able to find but print is small so will use the option of between dates. ☺

What is the death record you think might be correct, What date?

I might have found Måns is on page 759. I will have to go back and copy link.

I think the date is June 4

That record indeed contains a death record for Måns, Sven Månsson's small child died at 4 June, age 9 weeks

With no other info I would say a match but the 9 weeks doesn't fit. Måns was born 22may1774.

Sorry, one correction, record does not mention a child's name.
I looked it more closely, place does not match. So I don't think this is a right death record.

Thanks for looking. Will just go with between dates. Either way both boys died before age 8. I have other family that have me searching records but not much luck. It will keep me busy though. Have a good night.

This must be both of the sons-buried 15 Feb. 1778 (entry beginning "Dito" right below "15"). One was 3 years and 9 months old and the other was 1 year and 1 month old. They were both from Virkesjö Sg. (Södergård): https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/C0023981_00400#?c=&m=&s=&cv=399&xywh=618%2C1084%2C3457%2C2217 . The cause of death for both boys was whooping cough.
