Hello Kathy,
Translation of this Latin marriage record:
11 [July 1780]: the unmarried young man George Hornbach, legal clerk and schoolteacher in "Einseltheim" [Einselthum], originating from "Koenigheim?" [Königheim?], with Clara, legitimate daughter of the deceased George Helmling, tenant farmer in "Walterlenbach" [Wald-Erlenbach].
Comment: Here are the links for the three places mentioned in the record from Meyers Gazetteer:

Bingo! I had been trying to trace this guy's grandfather's home village, but have been stuck for months. Your translation broke down the brick wall! Lots of Hornbachs in Konigheim; 200 years later their family in Einselthum was still recycling the same set of first names the I found in Konigheim. This will take me back to the mid-1600s. Thanks so much!

Robert Seal_1 About a month ago, you translated a marriage record for me. I wanted to let you know that in the last month, I've been able to trace back that line for another five generations, specifically based on the information you uncovered in the translation. Thanks again!

Hello Kathy -- thank you for the feedback. It's nice to hear when a translation helps you extend your family line further back -- five generations based on that one record is very impressive.
Best regards, Robert Seal_1
