Hi there! I'm hoping to get a little help with a translation. It's the first record on top of the page here: https://www.ancestry.com/discoveryui-content/view/9800900:61607.

There is quite a lot of writing in the note on the right of the page and I'm wondering if it can add anything to this family's story. Thank you!

This column is for the midwife's (giordemoders or jordmoders) notes.

This has taken a while to try to figure out, and there is a bit that I have not been able to decipher but this is what I have come up with:

Transcription-"En Drenge, som blev født den syvende maanad, uden at ______________ mides til konens for tidlig nedkomst. Fosteret kom med naturen og lemede 3 timer."

Translation-"a boy who was born (in) the seventh month, without (at ________________ mides) to the wife's (ie. mother's) premature delivery. The fetus came naturally and lived 3 hours."

I am consulting with the Nordic specialists at the FamilySearch Library in Salt Lake City, to try to figure out the missing part. If I find out what it is, I will add the information in another comment. It may be that @Niels Just Rasmussen could help out with this.
