"Tra bygget" Swedish Translation
I am researching in Rölanda Kyrkoarkiv Rakenskaper records and I came across my ancester giving a donation to the church and it is recorded he was at or on "Tra bygget" as his location. This translates to the "wooden building" if I read it right. All other persons are identified to a town or farm like Stennungen, Ramberg, Prästhökesäter, etc. Does anyone have a thought about why this "Tra bygget" is used versus a town? I'm hoping to understand if this might be a special location, like an old folks home or farm.

You are right that träbygget (usually written in one word) means "wooden building" or "wood construction". This is somewhat strange, since almost all buildings in Sweden used to be like this. Without further information I don't see how this can specify a location.

Under this link a book can be found (Beskrifning öfver Wästbo härad i Jönköpings län of 1851) where a road construction along "Rödkallehögen, Näsbön, Träbygget, Sandbäcken och öfra Skogen i Rölanda" is mentioned. However, I can find only Näsbön on a modern map (https://minkarta.lantmateriet.se/). Maybe the other place names have disappeared over time or are known only locally.
