- Please state where the record is from
- State the name(s) of the principal(s) in the record
- If possible attach the image and the link to the image.
- Attach one image per translation request
- Once the request is posted, please review it to (a) make sure it makes sense to the reader; (b) the image is attached; (c) the image is legible (this could be checked before posting, too)
- If you have a large number of requests, please post one or two at a time; wait for a response; then post one or two more
- Please post the entire image instead of a snippet.
- Please crop the image to see the entire page. It helps the translator to see the whole context and offers more material for comparison with the scribe's style of writing
- Remember to thank the Responder
- If you like the response, give the Responder a "Like"
- Please post as "Ask as a Question" (Down arrown next to "New Discussion) and when the post is answered go back and mark as "Answered"
Thank you to all our German Group members. You are awesome!!

Ah, I should have read this earlier! I thought you'd prefer a snip, but I'll make a point of posting entire pages and specifying which parts I'm interested in.

For translation requestions, should that be posted as "Ask as a Question"? I had previously been told that these should be posted as "New Discussion".

Posting translation request as questions allows you to choose the translation(s) as a "best answer" which indicates to others that your request has been fulfilled.
