What are some ways, either family history, public service, or general business related, that you are seeing your communities try to serve the public and remain viable?
As we are all in one stage or another of quarantine, I have noticed that businesses are creatively adapting to the situation in trying to serve the customer, and still trying to remain financially afloat. I also recognize that some of you are involved in many things that have either been postponed or cancelled, while some of you are serving the community now, but in unique ways. Please, let's talk about what we are seeing and doing.

Here are some things that I am seeing in my neighborhood, and from what others around the globe are telling me:
- In Kansas City, Missouri, USA rather than laying off workers, the WWI Museum is having their workers digitize records! https://www.kbia.org/post/instead-laying-workers-kansas-citys-wwi-museum-redeploys-them-expand-digital-archive#stream/0
- Sit down restaurants are doing curbside take-out (which I think many people are seeing)
- An Ohio, USA YMCA is posting exercise classes online for many patrons to exercise from home.
- Our "The Bridge" meeting had people from all over the United States attend. One person had a snowstorm going on, and another was by their swimming pool (home offices are great, aren't they?!).
- Mothers of small children are coming together streaming classes online for each other's children - singing classes, Spanish classes, etc.
- People are putting letters in their windows saying hello to their neighbors and thanking local law enforcement.
- A library in Virginia, USA has left their internet wifi on so patrons can sit in their cars in the parking lot to utilize the internet.
What ways are you seeing people reach out to help each other?
