Locating DEATH/BURIAL Dates & Sites-Records: In Norway & Sweden - ERROR Correction
- Anna Marie Knudsen - born 25 Dec 1876, Bragernes, Drammen, Buskerud, Norway. I have birth, census records for my great-grandmother, but have yet to locate her death records despite many searches in the parish records. The date I heard from family for her death, is 20 Mar. 1921, but I have NOTHING to substantiate that. She lived most of her married life in Holmestrand, Norway, and by 1923 my great-grandfather came to the United States. It would really mean a lot to know where she is, when she died & perhaps her cause of death. I can't find an obit either even after searching old newspapers. Ideas?
🚩ERROR CORRECTION:
Thank you to a couple of people responding to my inquiries about my great-grandmother for catching a MAJOR error in my posting. I listed her (as seen above) with her maiden name (like in my family tree) but forgot her married name - Mathiesen. Her full name should read:
Anna Marie Mathiesen (born Knudsen). For additional help, her husband was, Ludvig Hagbart Mathiesen, born 11 Nov 1873, in Holmestrand, Norway.
My apologies for that oversight! I truly appreciate the ideas/information some individuals have sent to me. Several questions were answered concerning Gunnvor Saeter, and Friedrika Sara Lubinger.

The Churchbook for Holmestrand is apparently only scanned for burials until 1915....
