Tuesdays Instagram Live:

Camille Mecham - Connecting with multi-generational families

Pick up your children's hobbies and do it with them.
Do food related dinners/heritage meals that relate to an ancestor.
Walks that include the community by adding chalk art, teddy bear hunt teddy bears in a window), egg hunt (neighbors hide easter eggs for family walks).
Ancestor Birthdays. Go back 4-5 generations and one day each month celebrate their birthdays. Have children either draw a picture of that ancestor and write down information about them, or if they are alive, have the children interview them. Have living ancestors help identify photos and share stories.
Video as much as you can with family for daily life, and for life events (FaceTime, Marco Polo, What's App, etc.).
