Translation Help Hungarian marriage record
Hi, I am new to Hungarian research. I found a 1905 marriage record of an ancestor from Csenger, Szatmar, Hungary.
The Groom was Pal Sike born on January 24, 1870. His father was also Pal Sike and his mother Katalin Angi.
The Bride was Erzebet Gyarmati born May 4, 1859. Her father was Istvan Gyarmati and her mother Julianna Toth.
Here is where I need translation help...
1) I found the brides birth record in the Csenger Civil records. - no help needed
2) I cannot find the Grooms birth record in Csenger or his parents marriage record which tells me he could have been born in a closeby village.
Could someone take a close look at the marriage record and see if there is another birth town mentioned that I have somehow missed? I see one name that I can't tell, it says lakohelye: Tarkoz but I may be reading it wrong.
Any help would be appreciated - Carl

It says he was living in Csenger, was born in Sárköz. His religion was Evangelical Reformed. Sárköz was in Szatmár County, Hungary at the time. It is now in Romania and called Livada.

Sárköz in Szatmár county is now Livada, Romania, which means that there's basically nothing available for it online. The Transylvanian Genealogical Society (http://erdelygen.uw.hu/forrasok.php) only has scans of Roman Catholic registers in its possession for Sárköz, so you'd probably need to find a local researcher to get access to the groom's birth record.

Thanks to both of you!
Julia I really appreciate the expanded translation of the marriage record. Thanks to both of you for clarifying Sárköz, the town that Pal Sike and his parents were born.
I am disappointed that there are no online records that would further my research :( I've been doing this research for my cousin and I won't be able to incur the costs of a local researcher.
Do either of you know if there is any kind of historical map that would show Csenger and Sárköz at the time prior to it becoming Livada?
Again thank you both for your help- Carl

Arcanum's maps section (what used to be Mapire) has lots of pre-Trianon maps. Here's Sárköz circa 1910: https://maps.arcanum.com/hu/map/magyarorszag_1910-fok/?bbox=2551275.0141183925%2C6074712.421368965%2C2609328.9371009837%2C6095082.889406965&map-list=1&layers=124.
Csenger is west of Sárköz; the city of Szatmárnémeti (now Satu Mare) is about midway between them. Ah! The cadastral (very detailed) map survives for Csenger: https://maps.arcanum.com/hu/map/cadastral/?bbox=2522132.2486352837%2C6078478.739532174%2C2529388.989008107%2C6081025.048036923&map-list=1&layers=3%2C4.

Thanks for those map links Julia.
Do either of you think there would be any Civil records online for Sárköz? I'm thinking maybe I could find death records if they are available.
If so, I'm not sure if I would look in Romania records or Hungary. - Carl

As far as I know, the civil registers are not online anywhere for places that are now in Romania. The originals were kept locally, so they're probably still at town hall in Sárközujlak [Livada Mică] (where the registry office was); the archive copies were sent to the county, so they're likely at the relevant county archive in Romania, which is probably in Szatmárnémeti (Satu Mare), but I don't know that for certain.
