Translate a infant death record
Found on archion.de : Stuttgart, Hospitalkirche Totenregister 1857-1863 on image 146 Number 253 :
Anonyma (no name given) mother Johanne Christina Huppbauer (what else is written).
Thank you-I discovered this infant in a family record previously transcribed for me and could only find this death/burial verification for him..no baptism record was found.

Anonyma [female child without name] mother Johanne Christiane Huppauer, seamstress, unmarried daughter of the deceased Gottlieb Huppauer, wine grower in Reissach, parish Loewenstein place and date of death: Bergstrasse 11 on 21 December at 7pm , burial Heppelau Church 23 Dec at 10 am, family register in Loewenstein;
I think the date in parentheses means that's when the pastor sent the information about this child to Loewenstein parish: Mit[teilung] 28 Dec 1860.

Gosh Baerbel, I didn't realize the record said so much. Fun to see Johanne Christiane was a seamstress. Thank you.

I need to ask your advice. The above transcription you gave me is recorded on the family record but it seems to conflict. The child is recorded as 'anonymus' on the family record which means male child. I am thinking the pastor the death record was sent to recorded it wrong and the death record would be the accurate choice. Would you agree? please advise. I don't which to indicate the infant was : male or female.
(I tried to attach the record but it didn't work) sorry--found on family search.

Thank you

You are correct. I double-checked the death record in Stuttgart, which clearly says "anonyma". So I would record the child as female.
