Looking for information on Augusta Hrobjoredotter Reykjavik Iceland
Hello,
For years we heard that our father had a family in Reykjavik, Iceland while stationed there at the start of ww2(1939/40). We had heard that he may have fathered a child but did not have any other information until today. I found a newspaper clipping that his brother posted during the war saying that my father's fiancee had written to him asking for information. In this clipping he mentioned her name which to this time we did not know. Is there any way to find her family? Her name was Augusta Hrobjoredotter
Thank you

A Google search gave this result for Ágústa Hróbjartsdóttir. I don't know if it is her, but it could be: http://einkaskjol.is/index.php/agusta-hrobjartsdottir. Google Chrome will change the page to English if you "right-click" and choose "translate to English".
This looks to be her in MyHeritage: https://www.myheritage.com/research/record-40000-48387978/agusta-margret-hrobjartsdottir-in-geni-world-family-tree.
I will attach a screenshot of the page in case you don't have access to MyHeritage.

Obituary of Ágústa Margrét Hróbjartsdóttir (1909-2003) in Icelandic with image: https://www.mbl.is/greinasafn/innskraning/?redirect=%2Fgreinasafn%2Fgrein%2F727355%2F%3Ft%3D913959322&page_name=article&grein_id=727355
There is also an Elín Ágústa Hróbjartsdóttir (1929-1965), but she is clearly to young.
