Hello-

I would very much appreciate help with the birth record of Mihaly Vaszily. I have attached the record (right hand side), but here is the link to the original: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:9Q97-Y33Q-R7Q?i=293&cc=1452460&cat=1044255

Number 7. Dated in Hernád Vécse, 4 February 1904.

Informant: the below-named father, who is known personally to the registrar.

Father: György Vaszily, Roman Catholic, day-laborer, residence and birthplace Hernád Szölled, age 31 years.

Mother: Mrs. György Vaszily born Ilona Rucskai, Roman Catholic, homemaker, residence Hernád Szölled, birthplace Hernád Petri, age 23 years.

    Birth: Hernád Szölled, 31 January 1904, 9 p.m.

    Child: boy, Roman Catholic, Mihály.

Read forth, approved, and the illiterate informant made his mark.

    ---

Based on the official gazetteers, Hernádszölled was absorbed into Hernádvécse at some point after 1902 but before 1907. The circa-1910 general national map on Mapire still labels them separately, but the 1914 administrative map only has a label for Hernádvécse.
