Louisiana Ship Passenger Lists and Census Records

My Grandfather and his family immigrated from Italy in the 1890's according to the 1920 census. I was able to find my Great Grandfather on a passenger list for 1894 but no one else. The 1920 census says that my Great Grandmother came over in 1897 and my Grandfather would have been 3 years old at that time. I have other census records showing births of children born to my Grandfather's siblings between 1900 and 1910 but I can not find them on any census records either until 1920. I have looked at Ellis Island, New Orleans, Galveston and any others that I can find online but there is nothing until a newspaper article in 1912 then they start showing up in the 1920 census. I need some ideas as to where else I could find them. Are there some ship logs and census's for Louisiana that have not been scanned into any system or am I just missing something?
