Recently discussing with Leandro Soria on trying to find ancestors who came from Spain to the Americas he clued me into a cool resource he worked on while at BYU. The Immigrant Ancestors Project at http://immigrants.byu.edu/resources/records allows one to view departure records and passenger lists of people leaving Spain for the Americas. It also covers a number of other countries like British and Irish, emigration approvals etc... Nice resource for those looking to track someone coming from Europe to the Americas.
