Translation of Marriage Record
Could someone please translate the marriage record of Johann Hepting & Maria Dauenhauer from 1860? It is entry #13 or the fifth entry on the pages. Page 2-m 78 is the left side of the book and page 2-m 78a is the right side of the book. This is from marriage book 2 of the Jackson Avenue Evangelical Church in New Orleans, LA. It mentions that she was born in Gretna, Parish of Jefferson, Louisiana; that much I can interpret.
Thank you,
Michele Lehmann

#13,
Name, occupation, age, birth and residence of the groom--Johann Hepting, 24 years old, worker in Gretna, Parish Jefferson, Louisiana, from Wittershausen in Königwuh? Würtemberg. He is a young single man.
(I have attached below a link to the town in Meyersgaz.org. Württemberg has great family books and you should check those out on Familysearch.org catalog. Wittershausen has a Lutheran parish, assuming he was Lutheran. I can't figure out the Königwuh?, it could be an address.)
Name, age, birth and residence of the bride--Maria Dauenhauer, 20 years old, from Gretna, Louisiana. She is a young single woman.
Day of marriage--2 February 1860
License and name of the issuer--License given on the same day, 2 February 1860 (above it says from Justice Fagot in the 7th Just. Court and it says it is the same in the entries below.)
Names of the witnesses--Johann Mutschler, Leonnhard Dauenhauer, Johann Schittenhalm?

P.S. Jefferson Parish in Louisiana is the equivalent of a county in the other states; this is not a religious parish.
