Denmark
Hi, My name is Cheryl Jackson. I am planning a trip to Denmark in May 2023. I am hoping to see my where my ancestors lived and the Parrish they went to in Norre Orslev, Maribo, Denmark. Any suggestions of Guides who would have time and be able to show our group of 4 persons around this place would be helpful. By the way we only speak English.
Sincerely,
Cheryl Jackson

Hi Cheryl.
I suppose you mean Nørre Ørslev Sogn on Falster: https://da.wikipedia.org/wiki/N%C3%B8rre_%C3%98rslev_Sogn
Population of 447 in all the parish. Nørre Ørslev village has the parish church built around 1250: https://da.wikipedia.org/wiki/N%C3%B8rre_%C3%98rslev_Kirke
On the map the villages of Lynghuse, Listrup and Nørre Ørslev are part of the Parish.
The area is located along the "Nykøbingvej", [road 271] that goes from Nykøbing Falster in the west through Systofte Skovby, Systofte, Lynghuse, Nørre Ørslev to Horreby over around 6 kilometers.
Though I live in Nykøbing I'm not a born local with knowledge of that areas farm history, and sadly neither having time in May-June, when it is end of year teaching and exam period for my students.
BUT it seems there is one local genealogist living in Nørre Ørslev, who has a home page. Maybe you can contact him to see what is possible.....

Best of luck
