Hi,
Can someone please help with a translation of the attached church book entry for the death of Jean Crepin in 1701 in Fahrenwalde, Germany.
Thanks,
Rob.

On Thursday the 2nd of June 1701 died at (I read farnévald) Jean Crépin the (something) widower of Elisabeth Bois, Elder of the church of (I read Bergholtz). (The next line I read ‘originaire du gouvernement de Calais’ Google translate would translate originaire as native of or originating from, the rest is the government of Calais. Perhaps this means originating from the department of Calais, or I wondered if Originaire was a government title of some sort)
Was interred in the cemetery of farnévald the 4th of said month. 40 years of age
