Translation of name change in birth record?

Hi, normally, I can suss out the Italian, but I'm not sure I've got a handle on this one. Does this say the mother's name is changing on the birth certificate?

Yes. The original record (#73 - https://antenati.cultura.gov.it/ark:/12657/an_ua36097929/wb3YgV3) says the mother's name is Giuseppa Lipomi; it is corrected to read Maria Pietra Lipuma. You can see it is corrected on Angelo's 1897 marriage record (#47 - https://antenati.cultura.gov.it/ark:/12657/an_ua36098113/0MgEjbe).
