📌 Did you know...retelling family stories helps your kids and grandkids?
Even when you think your children or grandchildren aren't listening, they can benefit. Kids that hear their family members share stories in-person:
- Have a better sense of belonging and identity
- Give youth an anchor
- Have less anxiety and fewer behavior problems
- Have better social and academic skills
- Instill a sense of adventure
So what family stories do you want to share with your children and grandchildren? Have you shared them? If not, now is probably a good time with all the uncertainty in the world. Our children and youth need an anchor and less anxiety.

I find strength now in remembering things that my father taught me. I was talking to my daughter yesterday and asked if she had the things that she needed for her family. She replied that she did and commented that her parents had taught her well. Our life experiences teach us valuable lessons. Our life stories teach others valuable lessons.
I'm sharing this with @Ancestor Treasures
