What does St. bror and stjuffar on Finnish Communion Books mean in English?

Family search has transcribed a Laukaa Finland Communion Book. St. bror and stjuffar were used before different names showing the relationship to head person. I have searched Finnish and Swedish word lists and cannot find their complete meaning. All I have been able to ascertain is that bror translates to brother and far translates to father. I'm thinking that one may indicate a brother-in-law and the other is a father-in-law. Is this right?

Styfbror (styfbroder) would be "step-brother" and styffar (styffader) would be "step-father". A brother-in-law would be "svärbroder" or "svåger" and a father-in-law would be a "svärfader/svärfar".
