Looking for parish
Family member born 1788. 1833-1855 Household records all say born in Hörda. Lives in Algutsboda from 1814 until death in 1855. Wiki lists Kronoberg parishes Berga, Östra Torsås, and Virestad as having place names of Hörda. I looked in them but do not find my person in birth records. Any suggestions as to where else I might look? Thank you much. Deniese

This is a very long shot, but try Höreda parish.
Who you are trying to find?

There is one Isaac Magnus Jonasson born 27 June 1788 in Höreda who moves in to Algutsboda at 9 Oct 1814.
Could this be him who you are looking for?

Good day Heidi. I am trying to trace this suggestion but having trouble finding him. I see the Isaac Magnus but can not read who parents are and not finding him in moving lengths- in or out. Still not sure if he is my person but would like to confirm. Thank you for any translation or links. Have a great day. Deniese

Going backward
Hovmantorp:
Moving out 1814 number 20
https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/C0024661_00034
Household record (in quite middle): Notation says he comes from Hörda and moves to Algustboda
https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/C0024644_00192
Moving in 1813 number 17 (Isak Magnusson)
From Hörda, moves to Lesebo, Hovmantorp
https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/C0024661_00014
Höreda is missing moving out records for year 1813, so you need to find him from Household records (Husförhörslängder)

The move from Hörda to Algutsboda is good. I have just one more question and please answer later if needed. From 1814 to death my Isack is Lindquist which sounds to me like a soldier name. How do I connect or find that? Enjoy your Sabbath.

What is the first source/page were Isack is mentioned in Algutsboda?
If he were a soldier, then he has that "sold" or something like that before his name.
The last name can be also related to some occupation.
In Hovmantorp and in moving records Isaac Magnus is dräng

ok, they were married at 23 Oct 1818 and Isak Lindqvist was from Ålgerdehult page 289 and Lena Jonasdotter was from Selemåla page 90
Isak is added into that page later so he came there from some other page.

There is no information in Moving in record to what page Isak Magnus Jonasson moves in 1814.
And there is no information on page 289 from what page Isak Lindqvist comes from.
There is a information gap for years 1814-1818 that is still missing in order to be certain if these two men were same man or not. And that you need to find out. Because both Isak were dräng (farmhands) it is likely that they moved possibly even once a year. Only way to find out is to search page by page 1814-1820 household record .

Good day Heidi. I found Isack Magnus Jonsson 21/6/1788 Hörda. Moved from Hosmantorp 1814. Pg 175 N. 51 Brodkulta. Then I found Isack Magnus Jonsson 27/6/1788 Höreda
1807-1815 pg 144. This entry says something about 3 Oct 1808 and inflammation??? I am thinking Isack Magnus Jonsson is Isack Lindquist but still searching. You said in birth record parents from Linneryd. Where is that? Thanks much. Deniese

Good day Deniese, In Höreda above Isac Magnus Jonsson is name of Peter Jonsson who died at 3 Oct 1808 from inflammation.
Parents were living in Linderyd when Isaac Magnus was born. Linderyd (=Linneryd) is a place name in Höreda parish, most likely a farm.
In Algutsboda page 175 Isak Magnus Jonsson lived with papermaster and it is possible that he started to learn that trade or started to think about it and took a last name.

In book for 1789-1808 pg 86 I found Linneryd, Gummarps, Höreda with Jonas Bengtsson, Anna Isaksdr, Jonas Johannes, Ingrid ?, Helena, Isack Magnus. Yahoo!!!. What is word for papermaster? Do you have a translation for Lindquist? Or any suggestions on a way to determine 95% that Isack m Jonsson= Isack Lindquist?? Thank you so so much. Deniese

good for you!
papermaster, sorry doing multitasking, profession of the house owner Håkan Bergström was pappersmästaren which is paper master in paper factory where they all worked. Isak m Jonsson lived and worked there also.
Lindquistis is in Finnish Lehmuksenoksa and I think it is in English branch of lime (linden)

I am 99,9% certain that Isack m Jonsson= Isack Lindquist

With what we have found, if this was your family member would you feel correct in saying they are same person. Even though there are inconsistencies, 21 June vs 27 June and Hörda vs Höreda, I feel they are same.

Thank you. You are such a blessing. Have a great week. I should be able to keep busy searching out the siblings. 😊

I would say they are same person. 1 and 7 can be easily mixed, seen that many times and when you foll the trail from Algutsboda -> Hovmantorp -> Höreda, all matches.
