Help needed in my Huguenot Ancestry in Croydon
I am tracing my Huguenot roots and have hit a brick wall , so help is appreciated please. My 6th G G Aunt was an Elizabeth DE Rouffignac B 1724 in Croydon London. Her Father was the prestigious Guy Rouffignac a Medical Doctor in Croydon. All i know is that Eliz Married a Francis Davies in 1746 in Ludgate London. I would really like to know if they had any Children??. Then i could add them to my Tree . I welcome any info here on this Family . Thanks.

With a married surname of Davies, you will be lucky to find any children with reasonable certainty. I note that one member on Ancestry has attached a Joseph Davies christened in 1735 in Weston. Oxfordshire to her!!! Elizabeth does appear on quite a few other Ancestry member trees. I have not checked them all.

Have you looked for probate for her father and husband? The National Archives has pre-1858 wills. I would start there.
