Correct Identity from parents marriage to children
Are the parents in the marriage, the same parents to their children in family tree? Also is the place of residence of the bride and groom in the marriage the same as Somogydöröcske, Somogy, Hungary.
Valentin Stickl 1764-1842 KJZ8-28D
Sibilla Ecklin 1764-1811 L83T-WMB
Could someone tell me why the surnames in the marriage are not matching the surnames in the family tree? Did they change their surname after they left their home town?
I also noticed that the child Eva was baptized in the evangelical church and yet the marriage is roman catholic. What is happening here?

On a quick look, I'm not convinced that any two of the sources currently attached to Valentin Stickl are actually for the same person. No, Törökkoppány is not the same place as Szil is not the same place as Döröcske, and the two records from Döröcske are Lutheran, while the other two are Roman Catholic.
Per Dvorzsák's gazetteer (1877, with numbers based on the 1869 census), Döröcske had 1154 Lutheran residents and a Lutheran church locally. Its 40 Roman Catholic residents were recorded in Törökkoppány.
Törökkoppány had 1295 Roman Catholic residents and a Roman Catholic church locally. Its grand total of 7 Lutheran residents were recorded in Döröcske.
Szil had 1705 Catholics and a church for them locally. Its 707 Lutherans were recorded in Döröcske.
