    My uncle’s genealogy

My uncle is Chinese. His paternal grandfather and grandmother came from Chixi, Taishan City. Mother’s maternal grandfather was also Chinese.

    Father’s Side

The Gan family can be traced into Tiantou Village, Chixi, Taishan. The first person known is Gan Fa Li and his wife, Qin Shi. They had multiple children, including Gan Kang Fun. Kang married an unknown woman and had three children; ???, Li Yung, and Con Yung. Li Married Yang Yet Heong and had three children, including Gan Tao Xing (甘韜興), he is the father of my uncle.

    Maternal Side

Most of my uncle’s mother’s side is Central American, however one side is Chinese, The Wu Clan (吳氏). The Wu family came from a man named Manuel. The name Manuel is not his birth name, we don’t know his Chinese name, but we do know is son’s name: Wu Liang (吳亮). He had a son named Wu Fang Zi (吳房姉). His wife is most likely He Zheng Niang (何正娘)

Unfortunately, we do not have the whole picture. Can you guys help me translate the picture we have?

      Dear Sebastian:

Here is the link to the Chinese FamilySearch Wiki: https://www.familysearch.org/en/wiki/Chinese_Genealogy. It has a lot of records there.

We have asked someone to translate the words on your picture. PaulaAnn
