Death record translation - widow??

According to the wording "Elisabeth, Frau (=wife) des ..." one may assume that her husband was still alive. Otherwise, one of the following formulations would come into question:
- "Elisabeth, Witwe (=widow) des ..."
- "Elisabeth, hinterlassene Witwe (=remaining widow) des ..."
- "Elisabeth, abgeschiedene Witwe (=left-behind widow) des ..."
To be on the safe side, I would check the source for one of the obvious phrases to get a feel for the usage at that time.

Hi Sharon Lee,
when asking for a transcription one should always mention the source (parish) and year - unless clear from the snippet (full pages would be better anyway).
Here you have an Elisabeth, daughter of Phillip Vogt from Grenchen, wife of Jacob Meister.
In another discussion you have a marriage of Jacob Meister with Elisabeth Vogt from Grenchen - but in this case the father is a Jacob Vogt.
Do you have two couples Jacob Meister & Elisabeth Vogt - or is there a discrepancy? Without knowing the year of the death entry this cannot be decided.
