Hello @J Ugarte,
Translation:
Number 3668.
City of Köln, on the 11th of July 1889.
Before the undersigned civil registrar appeared today, personally recognized by presenting his household book, the construction contractor Hubert Lambert Zweifel, resident in Köln, Friesenplatz 7, Catholic religion, and indicated that from Maria Magdalena Nettesheim?, his wife, Catholic religion, residing with him, at Köln in his apartment on the 6th of July 1889 at 1:30 pm a child of the male gender was born, who received the forenames Michael Anton.
Read aloud, approved, and signed: Lambert Zweifel.
The Civil Registrar, represented by: [signature].
[Written below this]: "H[inweise]: gestorben? 26.7.1939/242 Langenfeld? ____?"
If the second word is "gestorben", then this note would translate as: Notice: died on 26 July 1939, record no. 242, at Langenfeld? ____?
My comments: Yes, you are correct that the parents are Catholic. However, this is a civil birth record issued by the government (not the Church) and it does not include any information about the family's parish.
