I am certainly no expert, far from it; but, if you are talking about "Searching" in "FamilyTree"; then, I suggest the short answer is 'No'.
.
I do not even think that you can "Search" by 'Street' in any of the Other 'On-Line' "Web" 'Sites'.
.
The best to hope for is "Census Place" (eg. City/Town/Village/Hamlet) within a "County" (or, 'Shire').
.
Have you tried "Searching" for different variations of the "Surname"?
.
Have you tried "Searching" with a "Wildcard" (ie. "*") in the "Surname"?.
.
Have you tried "Expanding" the "Search"; as, some "Places" actually spanned more than one "County" (or, 'Shire')?
.
Post the "Details" of who you are "Searching" for, let us in the "Community.FamilySearch" try and help.
.
If the the individuals/persons that you are "Searching" for are in "Family Tree" of "FamilySearch"; then, include their 'FamilySearch Person Identifier' (PID).
.
I know that this does not help your immediate question; but, I hope it helps.

As Brett points out there really isnt a good way to search by street . . .
but if you knew of (other) families that were on that street on previous census's
you could search for those same other families and see if you could find them.
and then go forward and backward from there.

You can search by street name on FindMyPast. Just leave the name fields blank, enter the year, the parish and county, and in the keyword box, enter the street name. When I did that with the above information, I got 283 results.

Kathleen is corrrect. There is also the web site "TheGenealogist.co.uk" (a subscription site) which has the facility to search the England & Wales Census records by street name.

Also be aware that street names change from time to time so the street name may have changed in 1861.

Thanks, great idea. I have tried to search the entire census in 1861 trying to find the street name but hadn't thought of what you added. It is still a street today because I was able to "walk" down in with Google maps. Of course it could have been shortened since 1851.

I did a search with Google and walked the road today. It could have changed a little since 1851 though. Thanks for your imput.

Thanks for your ideas. I have tried variations with the name and with wildcards but will keep searching.
