This is the 1710 Jordeböcker Record Rölanda-Ramberg

Right below the farm/town Ramberg is a word but I can't make it out. It should be a town but the person who is listed - Jon Tolfsson is associated with Ramberg. Can you translate the name?

Thanks

Your link didn't work, but I was able to find the records in the Mantalslängder for Rölanda.

If you compare the first letter of this place with the first letter of Ulldalen (Uhledalen in these records), it is pretty obvious that they are (most often) the same letter = "U".

Because of that, I think that the first 3 letters are "uls". However, after that, it is too difficult to tell. Some of the records look like "ulssere" (https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/A0003404_00210#?c=&m=&s=&cv=209&xywh=-58%2C333%2C3293%2C1768)

or "ulsern" or "ulsere" (https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/A0003409_00219#?c=&m=&s=&cv=218&xywh=-200%2C87%2C2903%2C1558) and https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/A0003414_00185#?c=&m=&s=&cv=184&xywh=2180%2C1820%2C1706%2C1094 and https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/A0003410_00219#?c=&m=&s=&cv=218&xywh=1755%2C325%2C2166%2C1390

    or "ulsom" (https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/A0003408_00206#?c=&m=&s=&cv=205&xywh=-83%2C355%2C2215%2C1321).

Unfortunately, the first household records for Rölanda are in 1788-1805 and the place doesn't seem to exist anymore.

Thanks for looking at this. We thought maybe Ulvan or Ulvar, but like you said there is no such name.
