Where would I find birth/death/baptismal records after 1875 for the Canton of Bern (Brienz)?

With New Year 1876 the civil registry office was established in Switzerland. In canton Bern these records are still kept by the civil registry offices. The civil registry office in charge for Ebligen (until 1914) resp. Oberried (since 1914) is : Zivilstandskreis Bern-Oberland Ost, located in Interlaken (castle).
Together with the request, also ask for fares and conditions.
Recommended procedure:
The desired entries should no longer be subject to a protection period. Thus you want a unbeglaubigte Kopie or uncertified copy. The cost for this uncertified copy should be CHF 2.00. You can keep costs this low, by naming exact dates AND places: The civil registrar should be able to immediately identify the register in which he has to look up the event. (The fee for searching is CHF 75.00/for a broken half an hour)
The location is important as with beginning of 1876, two different records are kept:
A) Events (birth/marriage/deaths) that took place within the place (here likely Ebligen for the births, Oberried for the marriage), no matter what origin the person had (locals and foreigners), and
Events of citizens of Ebligen that took place outside Ebligen (maybe in the neighboring parish, may be far away) resp. Oberried (in 1914 Ebligen became part of Oberried).
Besides, personnally, I'd ask for the mariage entry as well. It most likely will confirm the birth dates of both, and the place, as well as unveil the name of both their parents. Last but not least, their Heimatort (The meaning and role of the place of origin for Genealogical research ist described elsewhere in Familysearch. Also Wikipedia helps).
Would be great to read about your experience here...
Best regards, Yvonne
