Jaroslavl metric books and search
Dear all;
I am looking for a citizen of Jaroslavl who was born between 1874 and 1884. He migrated from Russia around 1905 and ended up in Denmark. He used different names, but I have a letter from a brother in Saint Petersburg. The letter was written in 1932. The brother adresses the recipient as "Alexei" (Denisov) and "Lescha". He mentions two people that may be friends: Vasilij Alexandrowitz and Vasilij Vikolovitz. He writes that land in the village has been handed over to the Kolhos, and that their father died two years ago, December 18 (must be 1930).
I have been advised to check the metric books from Jaroslavl that fortunately are online. However, it seems as if I have to register to use the system - something that I have so far been unable to do. Can anyone here help me? And is there a chance that somebody might have an idea about the village that Alexei/Lescha came from, and how I can find more information about him?
Thank you.
Garbi

the collective farm is not a settlement, there were many of them in Yaroslavl, they were formed after 1917-1920. regarding metric records before 1917, they can be archived and available online, but registration on the portal is required.
Alexey, abbreviated as Lesha, is a very common name. the surname Denisov is also formed from the name
