Is the Invert Colors option no longer available on the NEW landscape and portrait pedigree views? It is great to have when the screen is just too bright!

Dark mode is a well-loved feature, and we plan on having that functionality before the full release of the updated landscape and portrait pedigree views. This has been by far the most-lamented missing feature of the entire soft launch, and we hear you! Dark mode is one of our favorite features, too!

Support is in development (but it will still be a while, yet).

I want to chime in on restoring the Invert Colors option; I use this as default as it's much easier to read.

Also I wish the fonts in the boxes were larger; there seems to be an awful lot of white space so there's lots of room for larger fonts.

The reason I'm using this forum is that the "Feedback" tab doesn't work.

    Alright, everyone!

Dark mode is still very much under development, but enough seems to be working that we turned it on for you all to use in the meantime. Just be aware that many of the colors are still in flux and some experiences might not fully adhere to the chosen mode for the next while.

    With love,

I work at FamilySearch records and also I am a Family History Consultant. I have 4 people that I personally work with that have vision issues - 2 with 15% vision or less. The dark screen is vital for them to be able to see ANYTHING. If you can find a way to get even more of the site in dark mode to help these elderly people have deteriating vision. These are baby boomers and there are so many of them.

We understand, @Service Missionary Sister Nicole Hall. As we continue to update the various parts of the FamilySearch site, we are working on exactly that. Allowing users to have a dark mode experience (that works well) across the whole site is a major ongoing effort for us. It may still take a while to get all of the kinks worked out, but we hear you. Stay tuned.
