I am looking at a 1863 birth record in Hørby, Hjørring, Denmark. It is for  Else Marie Jensdatter, KN35-FH8. It appears than the parent's names may have been incorrectly indexed. Still, I would like a professional opinion. My records show her parents are Jens Jensen, and Else Marie Jensdatter. The indexed record shows Hans Jensen and Maren Jensdatter. The link is attached for your reference.

I presume you are asking about the birth record of Marianne Jensen born 23 December. Her parents are Jens Jensen and Else Marie Jensdatter in Svangenholt. The name "Marie" does look something like "Maren" in the record but after looking carefully at the record I am sure it is "Marie". The 1860 census for Hørby shows 19 women/girls with the given names Else Marie but there is not a single Else Maren in Hørby in 1860.

There is a note that she died on 10 October 1866. That death and burial record is here (entry #9): https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/da/billedviser?bsid=410631#410631,75925099.

There is an Else Marie Jensdatter married to Jens Jensen in the 1860 census for Hørby, Hjørring, Denmark here: https://www.danishfamilysearch.com/cid15917861. This matches the information in Family Search Tree for your Else Marie Jensdatter.

Thank you for the in-depth response and for checking the census to confirm the information found on the birth and christening record. We appreciate your promptness as well!
