Hi, I need help reading a record for Fryele, Jönköping, Sweden, born 12 February 1735, https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33SQ-GPZN-3CKG?i=61&cc=1930273&cat=293021

The child that I am researching is Elizabeth Gudmunsdotter on the top on the right side.

Thanks for your help. Evan Parrish

This appears to be the birth of twins, Nils and Elisabeth Gudmundsdotter on 12 February 1735 and christened on 13 February. The parents are Gudmund Jonsson and Elisabeth Olufsdotter. I am not able to read everything in the record but the mother died during the birth. This is beyond my Swedish abilities, so I am going to ask @Ulrich Neitzel to help with the details.

This is the death and burial record for the mother (3rd entry in 1735): https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/A0008078_00146#?c=&m=&s=&cv=145&xywh=327%2C1978%2C3449%2C2212.

Here comes the translation of the first part of the record:

    Nils and Elizabeth

The children of Gudmund Jonsson and his wife Elizabet Olufsdotter in Råhult östringe were born on the 12th of February, but with 1/2 day between the two, and after the son was born the mother was dead, and because of the children's weakness they were baptized on the day after, February 13th

Then follows a list of the sponsors which is partly difficult to read.
