Do I Index the 1st, or 2nd date ?

Should I index the first, or the second date as the date of death ? I assume that "Est." is Estimated date of death and "Fd." is date found.

From the Field Help (purple question mark above every field):

When encountering an image with a date range, index the most recent date only.

@sharpyshow In this case, Est. means Estimated date/time of death. Fd. is the date the body/remains are found, as in a drowning or a war combat death. We use the most recent date as @erutherford states above because we cannot determine the exact date of death until the body/remains are found. Ex. my uncle died in a torpedoed submarine during WWII but was not declared dead until remains/evidence of the downed submarine were found/determined by other evidence.😎
