Just about everyone uses FamilySearch.org and Ancestry.com in their United States family history research, but don’t forget that good old Google can be very quick and helpful. Suppose you want to:
Find a county or how many counties are in __________? You might want to start by asking Google.
Or, how many people have the surname of _______ in _______ county in the state of ________? You might want to start by asking Google.
Or, what was the population of ________ in _____? You might want to start by asking Google.
And on and on and on.
