How do I edit my father's name?

Hi Welcome to Family Search Community and posting your question about editing your father's name. You go to the person page, detail view and click on the edit icon (pencil) or word edit. Here is a link to the more detailed instructions.

Click the word Edit next to the person's name in the Vitals section or click the Pencil edit Icon in the new person page. Then make you correction then Save.
