Editing Box and the Display of Linked Standards
As I mentioned in my other post today and as seen in several currently active discussions in the Help and Idea sections, many people are still confused about the use of FamilySearch's dual data entry model for dates and places which I find tremendously useful and hope never changes.
I would like to request that you go back to a very old version of Family Tree and modify the Edit pop up box to always display both the user entered Display Data and the linked Standardized Data as was formerly done. Currently if the two happen to match, the four fields of data are compressed into just two. It seems too many people take this collapse to mean that the data is now "correct" and maintain that when four fields show the data is not "standardized" even though it is.
Showing clearly that the user data and the standardized data are two separate items even when they just happen to be the same would be a step in educating people that they do not have to be the same and that often times the Displayed Data can be of higher quality and accuracy when they are not the same.

We've been discussing this in some design meetings. It is also another call out for consistency.
