If you look at https://www.nrscotland.gov.uk/registration/how-to-order-an-official-extract-from-the-registers you will see that there is a paragraph stating:
"You can search for, and order, birth, death, marriage, divorce, civil partnership and dissolution of civil partnership, census and Old Parish Register certificates online at our ScotlandsPeople website."
Basically, National Records of Scotland is the name of the custodian of these records, but ScotlandsPeople is the website from which you can order / download their records.
(Just found this Google entry:
The ScotlandsPeople site is maintained by the National Records of Scotland, a non-ministerial department of the Scottish Government. Our purpose is to collect, preserve and produce information about Scotland's people and history and make it available to inform current and future generations.)
