Cause of death translation, Swedish
Looking for help or verification on this cause of death, male, age 46.
I assume the first word is Slag, which I assume is stroke?
What about the second phrase. I can't find these words. Are they latin? cardio? something?

I found the copy of this death record in the SCB data base: https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/A0030762_01375#?c=&m=&s=&cv=1374&xywh=-384%2C-103%2C6947%2C4971
There is the same entry, maybe somewhat clearer; I read Slag, cardio seler(?) . I assume it is a latin description of the diagnosis, maybe cardiac arrest. Slag can be both, a brain stroke or a cardiac infarct.

Hello Karen,
I would agree that the first word is Slag = stroke
The second line escapes me as well. Maybe it would help to see more of that page; from which year is the record?

@Ulrich Neitzel Thank you for taking a look. Here is where the record appears in ArkivDigital: ArkivDigital:Nacka (AB) FI:3 (1903-1914) Image 500 / Page 44
I am looking at the 1908 Death of Englund, Ernst G. N. I assume it must relate to heart (cardio)? Died at age about 62. He was a foreman at the Finnboda ship yard, near Stockholm.
His wife died of carbunulosis..which I assume relates to carbuncles, ouch!!
