Bug report: where are the rest of his sources?
I'm trying to tag this guy's marriage with the (unindexed) source I just attached, but it's only listing one of his five sources, and that's not it.
Where are the rest? Marriages have not been added (yet?) at the other end, i.e. I can't tag them from his sources tab.
Ah! I see: it's all convoluted. The reason that one son's birth record is showing up to be tagged is that it somehow (I have no idea how) got added to the totally-separate-and-mostly-invisible marriage sources section. If I add the actual marriage record to that section, then I can tag it.
Urk. Can this be simplified? Treat marriages the same as entries in Other Information, without the separate, mysteriously-populated not-a-tab for sources?

Product management has been actively discussing the "marriage sources" concept and ways to improve/change. Having only person sources and tagging marriage events has been considered. Unfortunately it’s not something easy to change.
I'll bring up this particular scenerio.
Thank you

It took me a long time to find where this tagging of marriage sources was, but finally did notice it is when editing marriage information.
Looking at this, I can't see any reason for tagging the sources on the couple's relationship popup since those sources are right there:
What I would find valuable would be having the ability to tag any sources on the source page for the husband and the source page for the wife to this event. In that case I would probably just add any custom sources to those two pages and tag them here rather than also add them to the relationship pop up.
If the Sources (#) notation was put after Marriage, as it is after all vitals and other information, that would make it clear that sources were found by opening the view data popup or edit box just as it is for all other information.
Then you could get rid of the Sources section here altogether and not have to continue the struggle the programmers have had for years trying to get the FamilySearch system sources to show on the pop up properly. I've seen them come and go several times through the years, from how it show here with the husband's name, to having the wife's form of the source, to having a copy of the source whose title included both their names and now with the current problem that occasionally birth sources for a child pops up here.
I know that eliminating the sources section would be a major effort because you would have to have an automatic routine move a copy of any source to the husband, a copy to the wife, and tag both of them to the marriage event. And the history of automatic routines making wholesale corrections to the databases has quite a few bleak chapters.
