My maternal grandmother( who I never met ) , Anna Schuller, was from Hungary. This notebook I found in my parents' house. I don't know if Emmi Schuller, name on front of notebook, is a sibling or what. I see a Hungarian stamp on the inside of the front cover. I don't know what language this is. Does anyone here understand this ? Thank you.

It's in German, in That Dratted Handwriting.

It's dated "Kronstadt, Oktober 1900", which is the German name for Brassó (now Braşov, Romania). Like many towns in Hungary, it had a significant German-speaking population (although it was a fairly diverse place: by 1913, the gazetteer lists the local languages/ethnicities as Hungarian, Romanian, German, Czech-Moravian, and Roma, with none of them marked as having a majority).

@Betsy722 The first and part of the second page '1 Lied' (1 Song) hold a record of a poem by Joseph Victor von Scheffel (concerning life). On the second page “II Scheidelied" is a poem by Karl Herloßsohn.
