Could someone translate (Danish) the information for Anton Teodor Knudsen for me.
The person who indexed wrote the fathers name as Knud Nielsen and the mother as Maren Knudsen. There is something strange going on here. Maren's father is Knude Nielsen. He would have been 62 years old when Teordor was born. I think MAYBE out of wedlock. Later on I see Maren marry a Rasmus Johansen in 1882. He would be 65 years old and she would be 28 years old. MAYBE Rasmuss was doing a kindly deed? But I do not see Theodor listde in the 1890 census. Maybe I am way wrong and there is no connection. Maren Knudsen- MV9C-TZF. Knud Nielsen- MKSR-R7R. Anton- nonumber as of now.

In this 1879 christening Maren 30 years old is unmarried, daughter of Knud Nielsen. The child's putative (said to be) father is Ramus Hansen servant in Davinde who left for America.

This does not look like the mother, maybe an aunt. This is who Anton Theodor went to America with.

I think this record is likely his mother, the age matches and she's probably changed her name from Maren to Marg.
