translation of Estate record
Hi, I am looking for translation of part of an 1880 estate record, which lists children as heirs. I am especially interested in the two parts that mention the son, Claes Jacobsson, who disappears from all records (to date) after 1867.
Many thanks for any help! Paula

I do not read Swedish so I can’t be of much help with the translation, but if you can share what information you have for Claes Jacobsson, I might be able to help find more about him. For example, does he have a FamilySearch.org ID#, what about a birth date and place, parents’ names, etc.?

Ronald,
Claes Jacobsson does not have a FamilySearch ID#. I will eventually create one. DOB is 18-Aug-1845. Mother: Lovisa Andersdotter/Andersson and father: Niclas Jacobsson. All from Bredared/Borås area, Älvsborg. He had several siblings (one being my great grandmother, Emma). Claes (Klas) also used the surname of Niclasson. The last record is a notation on a moving out record in May of 1867, that he was leaving Gothenburg for Borås.
I hope to find more recent info but no luck, so far. Thanks for your response.

I’m sorry but I cannot find any more current information for Claes (Werner) Jacobsson/Niklasson than what you currently have.
Good Hunting!
