Please assist on information to trace South African WWII archives/records/stories for my uncle, Eustace Robert Roberts. He was a Sergeant in the 26th Squadron of the West Africa Forces and served as an engineer. Also served in Italy. I have browsed through the Forces War Records site but no specific hits. He was born in Bulawayo in 1910 and died in Pietermaritzburg in 1962. He lived in Durban and moved to Brakpan. Was married to Irene Lillian Albertus.

Thank you kindly

@ROWLANDROBERTS1 One place to start is the FamilySearch research wiki. You can access the wiki by going to Search and then select Research Wiki from the dropdown menu. You can start on the South Africa page and then select additional articles from the "Record Types" box on the right. For example, here is the South Africa Military Records page.
