Kirchdorf - baptism -1786 - Küentzi - unusual letter in occupation?
The source is from FamilySearch: Tauf-Rodel, Staatsarchiv Bern, K Kirchdorf 3. The baptism record is on page 156, year 1786, entry 9, for Maria Küentzi.
I think my transcription is correct. I know the father's occupation is Schiffmann and the "f with a circle" looks unusual. Could it mean a double f rather than a single f?
Thanks!

I am not sure about the circle - but "Schiff" would (today) be spelled correctly with double f. At this time it not always easy to differentiate f from ff (or t from tt) - but this wouldn't change the meaning.
I guess the line should just make absolutely sure that the "von Kilchdorf" (after the bracket) applied to both, but not the third witness.

Thank you for the answers and it is especially helpful to know that the meaning of Schiffmann is the same with either f or ff.
