What else does it say about Peter Jorgensen in this marriage record? Maria Katharina's father is named--but I don't see that information about him.

    Translation:

Bachelor Peter Jörgensen Jeppe, according to a certificate from Mr. Pastor Henningsen of 7 Novbember 1843 a son of "Boelsmand" Jörgen Jörgensen Jeppe i Mummark born 21 May 1808.

Maid Maria Katharina Knös, daughter of "Boelsmand" Hans Knös in Hörup, born 1 December 1815.

    Comments:

According to Danish Wikipedia a Boelsmand is the owner of a boelsmandssted, which is the term for the second smallest agricultural holdings. A boelsmandssted is an agricultural holding smaller than a farm (bondegård). Traditionally, a boelsmandssted was less than 3 acres. At the same time the farmer (bonde) had at least 15 acres of land.

Mummark (now written Mommark) and Hørup are villages on the island Als.
