CHARLES UDOR MINTO
I am looking for any information on the above named person. Charles came to the UK sometime immediately after or during WW1. He initially settled in Liverpool where he married a local girl and began a family. He then moved to North Shields in North East England where he became a community leader and was awarded an MBE for his work. Charles was a champion boxer in Nigeria before coming to the UK. Later this year the local authority is unveiling a blue plaque to mark his contribution as a civil rights leader.
Any information especially of his time in Nigeria would be greatly appreciated.
