I am trying to figure out the word before the name of the bride Hanna Pehrsdotter in the record of her marriage to Jöns Hansson.

The record can also be found here: https://app.arkivdigital.se/volume/v110691a?image=1100

    @SLenhart

    Sorry, but I am unable to read the word either, but my guess is that it may refer to either: (1) Her station in life, like “maiden”; or, (2) What parish, community or farm she is from.

    Good Hunting!

    It looks like the word is "huspigan" which translates to "housemaid". The record also says that they are both from Ilstorp parish and village. They were betrothed 21 September 1817 and married on 26 November 1817. He was a widower and "husman" (farm laborer-owned his house but not the land). See the Swedish word list here: https://www.familysearch.org/en/wiki/Swedish_Genealogical_Word_List.
