Could you help translate this.. and perhaps figure out where it goes in my family tree. It was just sitting in my "memories" waiting for me to "tag" it in FamilySearch and I'm cluless. My name is Wendy Monson (KW8W-61K) I can figure out the printed words, pretty much, but the cursive...... HELP!
Thank you soooo much

This is actually Norwegian. It appears to be some kind of "moving out certificate". It reads "According to the church register in Dale Parish in Lyster (Luster) Prestegjeld, Karl Tørgersen Kilen in Dale of parents cottager Tørger Larsen Kilen and wife Kari Olsdatter, born the 20th of January 1888 (illegible) baptized the 19th of February of the same year, confirmed the 21st of June 1903. He intends to move out to America".
It is dated the 7th of April 1909 and is signed by the parish priest, H. Widero, and has his stamp under the signature.
The bottom part appears to be a seal from the police (perhaps in Bergen, Norway) dated 22 April 1909. I think is says "Ekspederet til udvandring (Amerika)" which, I think, means that he is allowed (has permission) to emigrate to America.

Hello my FAVORITE brother Baker,
Once again, thank you soooo much!
This is perfect! I found that was all about Karl Torgesen Kilen who is the husband who is my aunt. I had figured so much of it out, but just couldn't seem to read the names. Your educated eye is absolutley valuable to me. I was able to go into FamilySearch Wiki and identify just where he was at in Norway. Thank you again.
You are a wonder!
