Are these people two or one?
Bud R winegar LTGT-ZKW and Pard Ray winegar GXN4-Y36. I think they are the same person collectively called Ray Winegar and the first names are nick names. What do you think?

Looks like you have decided that they are the same having merged them already! That is fine - it is your call. The option is there for someone else to reinstate the deleted record if they do not agree. The records certainly look very similar. i see that it was you that created the deleted record in the first place.
Are you aware that, if you create a record and then find a duplicate, you can delete the newly created record rather than merge it with the duplicate?
As the gentleman (gentlemen?) in question is/are American, I am curious as to why you posted this to the British Isles group in the first place?
